The game ends after three Sun cycles or when all kingdoms are consolidated. The player with the most points wins.

You win by having the most victory points by the end of the game. You gain victory points for consolidating kingdoms, for holding the greatest rituals, and you may get extra victory points at the end of the game by becoming the Maharaja in a region.
During the game you will:
- Expand and consolidate power on foreign kingdoms by sending princes to campaings
- Form lasting alliances with the great empires by sending princes to marriage contests, where they may prove their worth to be chosen by princesses.
- Earn the blessings of gods by sending princes to make devotional offerings and to hold great rituals.
- Practice yoga to remain focused, to gain mastery over your life energies and to get enlightened - Train your princes to become great warriors and help you achieve your ambitions.
- Spend and refill your life energies to do more stuff.

Treasures can be claimed in order from the player with the most Vikings in a realm, to the one with the least Vikings, as longs as there are treasures left to be claimed. But be warned: ties are harsh. If you're tied with another player, you're bumped to the back of the line—if there's any treasure left for you at all...

After three rounds, players tally their points from collected treasures and forge powerful Norse artifacts for bonus points. The player with the most points earns the title 'Master of Warfare'!
